Version 3.2.1 now available!

xTuple ERP version 3.2.1 is now available for download!  You can find the free PostBooks Edition at Sourceforge , or if you're a commercial customer using the Standard or Manufacturing Editions, you'll find those files as usual in the downloads area at left.

We're well underway with planning for version 3.3, which will include enhancements to the taxation engine, Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP), and a number of usability improvements in Sales, CRM, and Accounting.  We'll also be continuing our architectural work that provides for easier loading and unloading of Packages, and faciliates the development of web interfaces.  If you'd like to get involved, either as a sponsor of new features, or on the development and testing front, please let us hear from you!

This is the Beta release of version 3.2.1, a follow-up release to version 3.2.0. This is primarily a bug fix release; however, several smaller features have been added to improve user experience--and also to enhance the work being done by custom screen developers.

Ned Lilly

President and CEO

In October 2001, Ned co-founded xTuple, originally called OpenMFG, with the aim of bringing the worlds of open platform software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) together to solve the unmet needs of small- to mid-sized manufacturers. In 1999, he was a co-founder of Great Bridge, an early business built around the PostgreSQL database which is also the core technology for xTuple today. Great Bridge was incubated inside Landmark Communications, a mid-sized media company where Ned directed corporate venture investments, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and startup activity. Prior to Landmark, Ned worked for a regional technology group in Washington D.C. and had a brief first career in political media — television, radio and a non-partisan news wire. He holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia and an M.A. from George Washington University.
