Announcing xTuple Custom Development Services

It's time to let you in on something that a few xTuple customers have known about for years: we do custom work.

Yes, it's true. Over the years we've added all kinds of new features to xTuple ERP to meet specific customer needs.

Sometimes these enhancements were built as installable extension packages using our scripting tools. Things like a vehicle scheduling system, a consignment sales package, tools for wireless receiving, point-in-time inventory tracking, and managing promotional discounts.

Other times the enhancements go straight into the core package.  xTuple old-timers might remember our "Greatest Hits" collection — enhancements such as the CRM, MPS, EDI, VAT, and other TLAs (Three Letter Acronyms) that made it into the xTuple core thanks to customer sponsorship.

Someone recently asked us why we didn't make more people aware that we do this — and we didn't have a really good answer. So now we're formally announcing the xTuple Custom Development Service as a full-fledged product offering.

Adding features isn't all we do. The Custom Development team can help you tweak interfaces to improve your productivity. We can design custom reports to deliver the exact information your business needs. We can help you integrate with outside data sources, or exchange EDI information with vendors and customers. We've done it for years. Now you know.

So, if this sounds interesting to you, please contact us. We'll be happy to get started on your project.
