Your Chance To “Test Drive” xTuple’s Mobile Web App at Macworld/iWorld

NORFOLK, VA

World’s #1 open source ERP software innovator exhibits at the “best place for all things Apple” conference, March 27-29, 2014, at Moscone Center North in San Francisco

Following last month’s release of xTuple version 4.3, vice president of sales Wally Tonra demonstrates the latest developments in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) company’s game-changing Mobile Web application, which is available on-site or in the cloud.

Unique among ERP vendors, xTuple is replicating the entire suite of functionality for the Mobile Web, features which historically were available only in the classic Desktop client. Mobile Web is a browser-based application option that works with any modern Web browser and is optimized for any mobile device running on iOS, Android or Windows 8, but also runs on desktop browsers.

Office-bound users may also work with the familiar Desktop client, while sales people and executives enrich their customer and prospect relationships, on-the-go, anytime, anywhere — managing their supply chain from tablets or smartphones. And warehouse workers can manage inventory with a ruggedized wireless barcode device running the xTuple Mobile Web app.

Version 4.3 of xTuple ERP adds to the company’s deep manufacturing industry offerings with its first dedicated commercial package for industrial distributors. These critical elements (see full feature list for xTuple Distribution Edition) will meet the needs of any wholesale distributor, but specifically developed for the electrical, HVAC, plumbing and industrial supply marketplace.

Included in the Mobile Web client for version 4.3 are more components of the Sales, Billing, and Inventory modules; a lightweight new JavaScript report writer; and wireless barcode scanning.

“Whether you’re a manufacturer, distributor, or manage a bit of both worlds, I’m looking forward to letting you ‘test drive’ the latest xTuple Mobile Web application,” says Tonra.

This year, Macworld/iWorld is held Thursday, March 27, through Saturday, March 29, at the Moscone Center North in San Francisco, California (USA). The conference agenda includes over 50 Tech Talks. Surveys by event organizers show that 77 percent of the more than 25,000 attendees come to discover and test new technology.
