xTuple ERP: PostBooks® Edition now even easier to install for non-technical users
xTuple, the leader in open source enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, today announced a partnership with BitRock to enhance the speed and ease of installation of xTuple ERP. With BitRock’s powerful multi-platform installer, even non-technical users can install the free PostBooks Edition of xTuple ERP, including the open source PostgreSQL database, in minutes.
PostBooks® is a completely open source, full-featured, fully-integrated accounting, ERP, and CRM system. Its user base consists of predominantly small to midsized businesses, many of which have little to no IT staff and therefore do not have the resources to undertake a complex ERP initiative. xTuple partnered with BitRock to provide a quick and easy installation process to eliminate technical barriers to even the smallest firms installing its robust open source ERP solution.

The new xTuple ERP installer runs on a variety of platforms, including Microsoft Windows, Apple Mac OS X, and numerous distributions of the Linux operating system, including Ubuntu, Red Hat, Novell SUSE, and more. They can be downloaded on the PostBooks® download site of Sourceforge.
