Business management software innovator posts record revenues, expands global reach with accelerated Partner channel and training offerings
At the recent quarterly company meeting, xTuple President and CEO Ned Lilly reported sales revenue up 66% over the same quarter last year — and sales for the first half of 2012 up 49% overall from the first half of 2011.
"We just experienced the best quarter ever in our company history, beating an already aggressive revenue target, and we continue to hire in all areas of the business," said Lilly.
The company, profitable for many years, also continues to grow its global network of software implementation partners — by a factor of 30% in 2011 — and is on track to exceed that growth in 2012. These partners are enterprise resource planning (ERP) and technology experts who implement and customize the xTuple software worldwide. Lilly also reviewed the expanded educational offerings delivered to Partners, and customers, in traditional classroom sessions and a variety of online platforms.
In addition to new online distance learning courses, Washington D.C. hosts two international xTuple training classes held this month: Setup, Configuration & Operation on August 13-17 and the Power User Training Class for advanced users (the last scheduled offering of this class in 2012), on August 20-23.
Attendees include new xTuple Partners from Australia and Brazil, who started as users of xTuple's free PostBooks product in family businesses in manufacturing and construction. The new Partners are now developing consultancy businesses in their respective countries around xTuple software and services — a successful business model xTuple has seen numerous times, with entrepreneurs across the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Europe.
In the burgeoning Pacific Rim market, xTuple Partner Program rising star eMethods for Business Management (EMBM) recently conducted the inaugural xTuple training class in the Philippines. xTuple's Director of Product Training, Mike Atherton, traveled to Manila to work with users over the course of five intensive days.
"EMBM needed a scalable business accounting software solution to take their customers to the next level, especially those having outgrown QuickBooks," said Atherton.

Additionally, xTuple's headcount grew 33% in the first half of 2012. The company now includes remote offices in seven U.S. states and Canada in addition to its 10,000 square foot Norfolk, Virginia, headquarters.
xTuple's visibility in the Hampton Roads, Virginia, metro area (Virginia Beach-Norfolk-Newport News) continues to build. xTuple champions numerous activities related to entrepreneurship and economic development, helping to grow the "innovation corridor" of downtown Norfolk while nurturing the company's own creative culture.
"xTuple is an organization beginning to make a real difference in the world and to fulfill its core mission: to help companies of all sizes successfully implement, and actively use, powerful business management software, at an affordable cost," continued Lilly.
